Potato Fry

Ingredients:

  • 2 Big Potatoes
  • 1/2 White Onion
  • 4 Table Spoon of Oil
  • 2 Table Spoon of Rice Flour
  • 2 Table Spoon of  Chilly Powder
  • 3 Teaspoon of Curry powder
  • Salt as required

For Seasoning:

  • Mustard Seeds
  • Urad Dal
  • Channa Dal
  • Curry Leaves
  • Corainder Leaves

Procedure:

  1. Boil Potato in a cooker  and then peel the skin or else without boiling cut in to pieces.

  2. Cut the boiled potatoes  in to pieces and keep aside.
  3. Pour Oil in a pan, heat it, add mustard seeds after it splutters add uraddal, channadal and keep it till gets brown.
  4. Add the Cut pieces of potato and add salt, riceflour, chilly powder, curry powder and then mix it well.
  5. And let it stay in the pan for 20 minutes with constant stirring, if you want deeply fried potato add some more amount  of oil.
  6. Till it gets roasted let it stay in the pan and finally add curry leaves and coriander leaves.

Note:

  • By adding rice flour you get a crispy taste.
